| Vizio VO47LF!!! The new flatscreen to get!
The good: Relatively inexpensive; accurate color temperature after calibration; accurate primary colors; solid uniformity across the screen; excellent connectivity with four HDMI inputs and one PC input; attractive finish.
The bad: Produces a lighter shade of black; inaccurate color temperature presets; below-average off-angle viewing; just two aspect ratio modes with HD sources.
The bottom line: Despite our usual picture quality quibbles, the well-equipped Vizio VO47LF 47-inch flat-panel LCD stays true to the company's good-value reputation.
Specs: Product type: LCD TV; Diagonal size: 47 in; Brightness (cd/m2): 500
Price range: $1,499.99

| 47" is a little big for me, as I still live in a quite small flat with my girlfriend. That is why I got the awesome and wonderful SOny Bravia D3000 instead. Cause my eyes would not see the difference at the distance I'm wtching between a FULL HD (1080p) and a HD Ready (720p). Plus, I can have films in 1080i, which is enough when I m far from my TV.
This TV seems quite good though when you have a great room to see the films, meaning at least 2.50/3 meters from your sofa. Under this, take a 42", or a 32" if at 2 meters.

| I think you're smoking ... I have some 47" from LG as of 1350 euros(47LF65, approx 1800 US $). But I know there are some 47" from LG at 3500 euros (approx 4700 US $) so you may be right ... I really think it is insanity to buy 47" if you don't watch TV from ver far away (47", I would say 2.7/2.8 meters). I would like to have some one day though, or bigger | |

| I think games could take advantage from such glasses ...
When you see what you can do with the Wii and its sensor (real time 3D), 3D glasses seem old fashioned ...

| LOL! Nah it actually isn't that big..like there was a 52 inch or something like that (the same model but bigger dimentions) but it was out of my budget at the time lol.. Then a few days afterwards I kept on going back to shops to check out other TVs and there were alot of bigger models which made mine look small hahaha what I like about it is the full 1080p, and with a high def player (ps3 for me) the visual is amazing...like seriously, it was worth the wait of saving haha | |
